Who
I am Starr Penn. I created Remedy Starr out of a need for my family to have access to safe, affordable and effective natural hair and beauty care products. I began developing products that are designed to solve our skin and scalp issues and that do not harm the environment or our bodies when my daughter Serafina was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis.
Before becoming The Leaky Gut Coach and helping moms to navigate the world of autoimmunity in children, I was a stylist of 20+ years. This background and seeing so many stylists in the industry get sick because of their over-exposure to chemicals was also a huge motivator in coming up with products that are salon quality AND safe. I hope you enjoy them as much as my family and clients do!
Why
Remedy Starr has been years in the making and born from necessity. When my daughter was 11 years old daughter she was diagnosed with Juvenile Arthritis, an autoimmune disorder that would potentially affect her, her entire life.
I began on a quest to heal her - naturally... And I did! In the process I learned a great deal about what causes our bodies to become auto immune and just how true it is that what goes into our bodies as well as what we put ON our bodies can greatly affect our health. My goal is to help people heal their autoimmune conditions. Feel free to email me for support!

All of Remedy Starr's products are vegan friendly. They are 100% free from sulfates, parabens and phthalates. Remedy Starr makes an effort to use organic ingredients as often and
wherever possible.
